In this series I used a photo from Brazil, a few from the Drew neighborhood, and couple from over the weekend on the Embarcadero. I used Picmonkey's texture and surface filters to make the picture look as if it was on an actual surface. I used brick, paper, metal, and even weave as textures for my photos. I also used the paint filter on the 49ers picture, which I really enjoyed. I think if I was to continue this series I would use more paint edits to make the photo almost look like it was painted on a canvas.

In this series we used the affects on Picmonkey to add meaning or tone. I specifically enjoyed the cross process affect and the textures of paper and metal. I of course also really enjoy experimenting with the different fonts, but I have found several that I really like in particular. This project is very similar to my final for last semester where I tried to experiment with adding words and affects to my photos, but this time I tried to not use any self portraits or any facial expressions.
