In this series I tried to capture a consistent retro theme that is accomplished by simple subjects and pic monkey editing tools. This is just the first draft of this Retro series, and I hope to better characterize and capture the same mood of photography in the past.

  5. i love the edits and effects you did for these. i especially like the one of the newspaper and incorporation of text. the first picture is also simple but very beautiful.

  6. Great series. I really like the effect you used on most of your photos. it made them look older and warn. i think that this is a great start and i would explore the backgrounds more.

  8. The last photo is the most successful in that the retro-style is not obvious, and gives the photo beauty rather than just a simple nostalgic tone.

  9. I like your photos but they lack a certain authenticity. Maybe its because were all shooting digital but they remind me a lot of instagram filters. something that might help you is that with celluloid, over time all the colors fade but blue and green go faster than red, which is why a lot of old photos have that hazy reddish hue. Unless youre going for the polaroid look which fits with the squared frames. You might want to mess with the exposure and contrast a little
