The goal for this collection was to play around with the exposure and the sensitivity to light. When we adjust the shutter we can control the speed and light of each photograph in order to move a little further away from reality. The coolest part of this photography tool is if you follow a moving object, the background will be a blur but the object will remain mostly defined and clear. My last photograph is a good example of this.

  1. Good series, really love the last shot. The contrast between the focused car and the blurred background is great.

  2. These pictures are interesting and make me take a minute to interpret them. Numb 4 is my favorite because it mimicks the sky.

  3. These pictures are very expressive. i really like the way you captured the light in your first photo. i also really like your second photo because you can still tell what is happening in the photo but the light is moving.

  4. these photos are very interesting. my favorite is the last car one, it looks like an ad. I think you could be more successful if you use a moving image and not moving your camera to produce the blurs.

  5. Sick shot of the car, Marcus. I agree with Emma, it looks like an image out of a commercial. I liked how some of your pictures appear to radiate some light.

  6. You were really successful in your goal to portray motion to the viewer. They all have different content, very nice color palettes, but they all have a common thread. i really like number 4 and 6

  7. nice pictures. i especially like the picture of the car because everything around the car looks chaotic but you still managed to maintain the image of the car
